Janet Corcoran
President Before joining Common Good in 2006, Janet Corcoran was President of PENCIL, a non-profit organization dedicated to generating and coordinating civic support for the New York City public school system. Previously, Ms. Corcoran was Vice President of GE Capital Global Project Structured Finance, Senior Counsel and Vice President of the Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, and Deputy Chief of the Public Securities Law Division of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She is a graduate of Radcliffe College and Boston College Law School, and holds a Master’s Degree from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Paul J. Barringer III
General Counsel Paul J. Barringer, head of Common Good's health court initiative, worked as a health care consultant with Accurium, a company he co-founded, prior to joining Common Good in 2005. He has also worked in private law practice at Smith Anderson LLP in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Hogan & Hartson in Washington, DC. He received a J.D. from the University of North Carolina, a Master’s Degree in public affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, and a B.A. from Davidson College. A. Jenny Foreit
Senior Health Care Counsel A. Jenny Foreit has worked in health policy advocacy for more than a decade. Prior to joining Common Good, she was a core member of the International Programs Department of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids in Washington, DC, where she focused on U.S. participation in developing the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. She received a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the George Washington University, and a B.A. from Brown University. Denise Bracken
