How Can I Help Support Health Courts?

Health courts offer the promise to create a system of reliable medical justice that is sorely needed by both patients and providers.  Before we can make real advancements in patient safety and the quality of care, we need to resolve the distrust in our health care system created by legal fear and unreliability. 

The time for action is now.  You have the power to make a difference and help us spread the word about reliable medical justice.  Please consider doing one or more of the options listed below:

• Sign our petition in support of health courts and join our coalition whose members include over 80 national leaders in healthcare and government.  To see a current list of endorsements by organizations and the media, click here.
• Contact your representatives. 
• Email our health court brochure to colleagues and friends.
• Request copies of our health court brochure to distribute.
• Contact your state and federal legislators to tell them you support health courts.  Read about health court legislation in Congress and in the states.
• Download our "Key Points About Health Courts" along with a "Draft Board Resolution" in support of health courts that you can introduce at you state or local medical society or other professional group.
• Contact Common Good for a speaking engagement.  Senior staff members at Common Good routinely address medical professional groups, business and community groups, and others with an interest in reforming our medical justice system.
